You can ask for any information that may facilitate your stay and your treatment.
Required documentation for admission through an insurance fund
At the Admission Office of the center the caregiver will be requested to provide all the documents required for the admission of the patient to the ANAGENNISI Center. In case the admission is through public insurance, the following documents need to be submitted:
Electronic Referral signed and stamped by the attending physician, the Medical Director of the Hospital or the Private Clinic.
The hospital discharge summary with reference to the GR-DRG used for the treatment, as well as the ICD10 of the main health condition and the concomitant diseases.
EOPYY (Greek National Organisation for the Provision of Healthcare Services) authorization on the request for inpatient rehabilitation.
A doctor’s note
ID card or passport
Medical records must also be submitted regardless of the patient’s admission through public or private insurance. Medical records may include: X-rays, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, electrocardiograms, medical diagnoses, results of blood and other tests, history of surgery, history of medication. The more up-to-date, regular and detailed the medical record provided, the easier, faster and safer it will be to plan the rehabilitation program
Protection of personal and medical data: All the information supplied constitute sensitive data under European Union and Greek legislation and is treated as secret and confidential by all members of our staff.
Medication
Medication is the list of prescribed drugs drugs you take, following your doctor’s instructions in order to treat a medical condition. We share the same objective at the ANAGENNISI center. At the Reception Desk of the center, the caregiver must submit the medical report, which includes your medication and is delivered upon your discharge from the hospital or clinic where you were treated.
In case you choose the medicines prescribed by your treating physician, instead of the generic medicines provided for by the legislation in force and administered by the ANAGENNISI center, it is necessary to provide them upon your arrival at the center.
Medication is modified according to the progress of the recovery of each patient.

Inside the room, store essential items that you do not use all the time, such as eyeglasses, hearing aids, artificial dentures, etc. in your bedside drawer. If you have an artificial denture, but not a storage case for it, ask the head nurse to provide you with one, upon your arrival.
The ANAGENNISI center has individual lockers for valuables in each treatment room, however we suggest you leave your valuables at home. We have no responsibility for any loss of personal items from the room or the premises of the center.

Rehabilitation program
A personalized therapeutic solution
just for you
The Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team managed by the Rehabilitation doctors, designs and implements the program that you will follow with your active participation, but also with the participation of all members of the team.
The Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team
The Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team is responsible for designing and implementing your recovery program. All therapeutic specialties participate in the Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team: physiotherapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, rehabilitation nurse, psychologist, neuropsychologist, social worker. The chief physician and coordinator is the Physiatrist, doctor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Evaluation and progress every week
The rehabilitation program is regularly reviewed and updated by the Rehabilitation Team and is the basis for regular communication between team members regarding your progress during your stay.
Various scales are used to evaluate both your general and specific functionality and the course of your recovery. The choice of assessment measures will depend on the phase and the objectives of the rehabilitation process, as well as on your functional capacity.
Throughout the rehabilitation program, the Physiatrist is responsible for updating all members of the Medical Team and your family.
Diagnostic tests
Within the first 24 hours
from your admission
Immediately after you get settled into your room, the Head Nurse proceeds to check for any injuries, ulcers or skin lesions, records your vital signs and informs the doctor on call regarding your condition.
The doctor on call obtains a full medical history from the caregiver and performs an electrocardiogram. An immediate speech therapy assessment follows to determine an appropriate diet.
The patient is evaluated and assessed by the physiatrist, the physiotherapist, the occupational therapist, the psychologist and gradually by all the other members of the Interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, in order for one’s personalized rehab program to be designed.
